The aim of this resource is to inspire young people through the spirit of adventure. It is designed so that the activities deliver content from across the National Curriculum, as well as supporting the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and the Department for Education’s Sustainability and Climate Change Strategy.

 

Plus, there is an emphasis on STEM to help engage children in these subjects, promote meaningful problem-solving in a real world context, and raise aspirations. Each activity has been split into 3 levels (Gold, Silver and Bronze), with the intention that these can either be used for differentiation or worked through together as a class. A glossary of technical terms has also been provided to support vocabulary development as outlined in the English Curriculum.
